The Hybrid Load Balance Efficiency (HLBE) is computed as the ratio between Average Useful Computation Time and the Maximum Useful Computation Time.
It can be expressed as:
\[HLBE = \frac{Average Useful Computation Time}{Maximum Computation Time}\]But it can also be expressed in terms of Hybrid Parallel Efficiency (HPE) and Hybrid Communication Efficiency (HCE):
\[HLBE = \frac{HPE}{HCE}\]In order to fully understand the formulas, you may also visit the glossary of the metrics terms.
